Japanned Red Aurora Borealis Brooch

This a very rare beautiful deep red brooch signed Sherman, consisting of three swirls each made as a flower with six marquis rhinestones, three with the Aurora Borealis wash spiralling out from it. These three flower swirls are anchored at the center with a fourth flower. The unshared round rhinestones are the same dark red as the larger stones.

This Sherman brooch is in excellent vintage condition.

Japanned Fuchsia Brooch

This a beautiful fuchsia brooch in a swirled dome design. Sparkling fuchsia and dark pink marquise rhinestones with round fuchsia stones trailing down thru the swirls. This is a beautiful brooch and though unsigned I bought it as a Sherman piece which shows in the Gustave style craftsmanship.

Black and Gray Aurora Borealis Brooch

Here is another stunning Sherman beauty. Three large, black crystal, oval shaped rhinestones are the base of this brooch. On top of these are three Aurora Borealis wash flowers each with a clear rhinestone center. These are surrounding a round Aurora Borealis rhinestones. Swirling out from under the large rhinestones are three leaf like arms comprised of marquis cut rhinestones of black crystal, grey and rhinestones.

When I say "black crystal" some people might call it dark smoke. Looking at them you can make out the facets.

Set in rhodium, this magnificant brooch is in excellent vintage condition.

Tri-Swirl Aurora Borealis Brooch

Here is a real unique beauty. It is a signed Sherman Aurora Borealis brooch. Mostly baguette stones in three bold overlapping swirls. Each of the three swirls starts with a medium round rhinestone with small rhinestones on each side. From these three lines of baguette stones lead to two flowers, then reversed swirl of baguettes with a medium and larger round rhinestones between baguettes at the end. Look closely and you will see that tnere are no marquis stones in this brooch.

The brooch is set in gold tone metal and bolted or screwed together in three places which is part of the original design. This brooch is signed Sherman in an oval so it dates in the late 1940s or 1950s.

This brooch is in excellent vintage condition.

Sherman Blue Sculpted Aurora Borealis Brooch

Mauve Aurora Borealis Brooch

This Sherman signed brooch is a mauve Aurora Borealis which looks more blue under certain lighting. A real collectible to treasure.

It is crafted of three circles and in two layers the brooch is dimensional. The inner circle and the top circle consist of round cut Austrian crystal rhinestones. The outer circle is made with marquis cut Austrian crystal rhinestones.

The findings are Rhodium plated and the rhinestones are all tightly set and no flaws that I can see. This brooch is in mint conidtion.

Blue Sculpted Aurora Borealis Brooch

This is a dramatic and very dimensional brooch by Sherman. It has beautiful blue marquis stones with round ones interspersed topped of with a small flower. All the round stones have the Aurora Borealis wash, blue with hints of lavender, while the pleasant contrast of blue marquis stone do not.

This terrific piece is rhodium set and in excellent vintage condition. The brooch looks pratically unworn.

Feathered Aurora Borealis Brooch

This is a sparkling Aurora Borealis brooch signed Sherman that, to my eye, are two feathers. Each feather consists of a row of round stones with marquis stones angling upwards on each side.

Set with gold toned findings it is in excellent to mint condition.

Black Sherman Swarovski Brooch

This beautiful brooch is made by Sherman. Made with Swarovski rhinestones on a japanned setting. All claw mounted securely and the pin and clasp are tight. Signed on the rectangular signature plate.

This brooch in excellent vintage condition, and really looks like it was rarely worn.

Pink Aurora Borealis Brooch

This is a delicate pink, signed Sherman brooch. It has a graceful frond shaped with a mix of luscious pink rhinestones and pink Aurora Borealis rhinestones giving it hints of purple and gold.

Set with rhodium plating it is in excellent to mint condition.

Blue Green Sherman Brooch

This brooch is a cool beauty of blues and greens. The Austrian crystals are a mix of varying sized stones, some round cut and others marquis cut. The round cut rhinestones have an Aurora Borealis wash while the marquis cut do not. The marquis cut come with the smaller ones in a light almost periwinkle blue color. The larger in a very rich deep green. The brooch is shaped in an overlapping swirl with it overlapping at the top.

Set with rhodium plating it is in excellent condition.
